Infectious Disease Specialists are highly trained physicians that specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with illnesses caused by microorganisms. Many common infections can be treated by your personal physician. Your doctor might refer you to an ID specialist in cases where an infection is difficult to diagnose or requires complex treatment.

The Mission of Infectious Disease Specialists of North Alabama is to deliver high-quality, professional medical care to both inpatients and outpatients with infectious diseases.
